Dave enters his third season at the helm (2009-11). In 2010, Weitie guided FC SONIC to the NPSL Final Four in Madison, Alabama. Falling in the semi’s to eventual National Champion Sacramento Gold. “Weitie” rallied the team to beat the Madison, Wisconsin 56ers to finish in third place and closing out a wonderful 2010 campaign at 11-2-1.

In 2005, ”Weitie” co-founded FC Lehigh United with Dean Koski (Head Men’s Coach at Lehigh University) and Sean Topping (Head Men’s Coach at Muhlenberg College). “Weitie” and his wife Stephanie reside in Lower Macungie with their two year old son, Kai.
